Work on your own or with a partner. Fill in the verb forms.
Lilly: Can you imagine what would happen if we gap (not have) our phones? I gap (go) crazy!
Jake: I don’t know… Maybe it gap (not be) so bad. If I gap (not use) my phone all the time, I gap (feel) more relaxed.
Lilly: I gap (not be) relaxed. If I gap (forget) my phone at home, I gap (panic) the whole day!

Lilly: No way! If I gap (not can) text my friends, I gap (feel) completely disconnected.
Jake: But if we gap (spend) less time on our phones, we gap (do) more fun things outside.
Lilly: Did you say fun? If I gap (go) out without my phone, I gap (be) so bored!

Lilly: I don’t think so. If I gap (not can) check all my online accounts, I gap (not survive).
Jake: You totally would! If you gap (try) a ‘no phone’ challenge for one day, you might actually like it.
Lilly: No way! If someone gap (take) my phone away, I gap (freak out).
Jake: Wow, you’re really addicted! Maybe you should try using it less.
Lilly: Never! If I gap (have) to live without my phone, I gap (feel) totally lost.
Jake: Okay, okay... But if you ever change your mind, let me know. I sometimes enjoy having some freedom.
Lilly: You’re crazy. Now, excuse me - I need to check my notifications!
Checkpoint 3:
Check your answers. Correct your mistakes.
